About the Role:
Royal Crown Homes LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team in Lakeville, MN. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents every single day in a warm, home-like environment. This a part time/ On call float role at our respite home in Lakeville and residential Assisted Living homes in Burnsville
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Managing colostomy bags
- Managing Tube feeding via G-Tube
- Using lifts or hoyers
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety techniques
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in resident condition
- Support residents during meals, including feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and care team regarding resident needs and changes
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to promote dignity and emotional well-being
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience in a residential care, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care, safety protocols, and infection control
- Ability to assist with transfers and physical tasks; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends or evenings
